Finde das preisleistungsverhältnis nicht okay.Dünnes Metall und innen nicht ganz sauber verarbeitet. Aber sieht schön aus wenn es montiert ist.

wie schon in einigen anderen Rezensionen beschrieben:- die Idee mit dem Scharnier ist super- der Verschluß hält gut- katastrophal ist das minderwertige, extrem dünne Material. Mehrfach gefaltete Alufolie ist dicker und stabiler. Hier sollte der Hersteller dringend nachbessern!

Sehr schlechtes Material; sehr dünn und leicht zu verbiegen. Das ist diesen Preis nicht wert, 1 € wäre da angemessen.

I can understand why I'm the first person to review this item, only an idiot would pay £17.23 for a couple of pipe collars, right?I have to admit, I was very reluctant but, as these were the only chromed 55mm diameter ones I could find anywhere and a t short notice my hands were tied a little as the smaller, 45mm covers, that seem to be everywhere, were just not wide enough.Whilst these are metal (as opposed to a regular plastic collar) first impressions out of the packet are that they are quite flimsy and tinny; I actually thought that I been sent the wrong item when I first opened the packet, surely these can't be what I paid all that money for?Don't be misled by the word "hinge" in the description, they're not hinged but simply bend open on a small section of the rim when you release the clasp, which, on the ones I had was quite difficult to do without fear of distorting the collar as the metal is so thin!The button to receive the clasp appears to be riveted through the collar, the tip of which can be seen on the face of the collar detracting from the finish.The ones I received were slightly pitted and had small scratches on them, presumably from transit, as they are not individually wrapped or packaged, simply attached to a small card hanger by a small plastic tie and put in an Amazon cardboard envelope!Additionally, on one of them, the corner of one of the sections where the pipe passes through the collar was poorly pressed and had a small barb of metal protruding from it; not a problem aesthetically as it's hidden by the pipe but would give you a nasty nick (Not the one one from Eastenders by the way!)I will use them as I have no other choice but I wouldn't recommend them, certainly not at the price; they look like they are made for pennies.If you can find an alternative you'll be doing yourself a favour, these are incredibly overpriced for what they are and, in my opinion, not great quality or value for money.Would I recommend them? Definitely not!Would I like to understand where they get the price from? most certainly!One can only assume that the Decimal Point is in the wrong place!
