The Power Press Dumbbell/Handle wasn't something I had to have. I have multiple sets of Kettlebells going to 35 pounds, which is a lot for me (75 year old small male). I can get the 35s overhead, but that's about my limit. But I have a 40 pound and 45 pound Dumbbells that I really can't use. The 45 I can barely get off the ground, and can't lift it with one hand at all. But I was intrigued, and thought maybe I could get some use from my heavier Dumbbells. Got the PP today and set out to try it. Had to struggle with the catch, wasn't using it right at first. Hint: When you close it, the larger rectangular part comes toward you, the thicker square goes away from you. It's a tight fit around the handles, but that's the way it should be. There's a roll of non slip athletic tape for the handle, but I typically don't like to use it.So the first thing I tried was a Sumo Deadlift, as I have done with my Kettlebells. Deadlifts and similar lifts aren't somthing I do a lot, but I swing Kettlebells and do Snatches, etc. However, I know the value of it and was thinking I wanted to get some in my workouts. It felt really good with either heavy Dumbbell. I tried a "Kettlebell" swing, and it was tough, but doable. I see others doing swings with 24KG and 32KG bells, which are both heavier than my 45 pounder. Note to self: Keep the reps low, 3-5 maybe. No sets of 10 with this baby. I can lift eigher one with one hand, like a suitcase deadlift. No going overhead with them. But I tried a two handed bent over row, which felt really good. I can't do Barbell bent rows, and of course I can use one or two Kettlebells, but this felt very good and I will probably use it. I didn't try a one handed row, but that may be an option when want to go heavier than my 35 pound KB. I have plate loaded adjustables and may play around with some in-between weights, but don't really need to.The handle felt good, was wide enough for my two hand grip (I am small though), and it secured the DB well, as far as I can tell. I'm already thinking of Metcons where I can use the heavy bells, at least for Deadlifts, if not for swings. I'm thinking of re-running Aleks Salkin's Day of the Deadlift program with these.Note to anyone thinking that large Dumbbell is too wide to swing between the legs. Look up the Double Kettelbell swing on YouTube. You have to go wide for those too. This felt OK with my widest Dumbbell.

It is sturdy enough for its purpose. If you are using a mix of larger and smaller plates, put the largest plates on the outside to be sure of clearing the handle. But I used it on a fifty pound dumbbell with hex ends. I like the width of the handle which makes a two handed grip easy. It attaches easily and securely and I used tape on the dumbbell spindle to make a tight fit with no lateral sliding. Obviously, you can do whatever a kettlebell would normally allow. I use it for a modified goblet squat, satchels, high pulls, farmer's walks. and the usual kettlebell swings from a sumo stance. Very useful.

The device woks great. The handle tape would not stay wrapped so I have to apply tape to get it to stay in place.

Looked solid and well made despite being plastic. It didn't work with yes4all adjustable dumbells however as the weight plates were a little too big to fit. Still a good product though and I'm sure I'll find a different use for it
