If you need heavy duty scissor/shears, these may work for you. I purchased them to cut through light gauged wire and steel belted belts for a CNC. They worked great and cut cleanly allowing me to stitch the belt accurately.

I bought these for work to cut tech 12 rope and splicing eyes it tech 12 they work very well for that and many other things, they are very comfortable to hold and they lock into the case great.
