I actually went onto amazon searching for a farm trough to use as a water bowl for my Swissie. He does not like metal bowls and I do not like plastic, so ceramic was the compromise! But, I also knew I had to be careful of the finish so as to not leach toxins into his water. Well, I found this beautiful trough within Minutes on Amazon; and it’s « hand made in Germany »; and is proudly advertised as lead and cadmium free finish. Perfect! It is thick and substantial so no risk of he or I Breaking it. I roll to empty water and refill. This is a beautiful chestnut brown color that looks gorgeous and natural in the green garden. My Suissie and I are very happy with the new bowl. I think this company should market this size trough to giant breed dog owners. He’s a big boy but I still want his things to be beautiful as well as functional too.Also the packing for shipping was well done. All recyclable cardboard and well padded.

Ich habe mir zwei dieser Futtertröe für meine beiden Minischweine zugelegt und bin sehr zufrieden.Die Tröge lassen sich sehr leicht reinigen, halten selbst großer Beanspruchung im Außenbereich stand und sind sehr robust. Auch größere Steine, die von unseren Schweinen mal in den Trog "geschoben" werden, lassen keine Schäden zurück. Zugleich sind sie so stabil und schwer, dass sie auch nicht ohne weiteres weggeschoben werden können.Von mir gibt es eine absolute Kaufempfehlung.
